Microbiology trends, conference programme unveiled

With under a month to go until the Microbiology Trends: Past, Present, Future event, ALS Environmental are pleased to announce some of the speakers at the conference and the practical demonstrations on show to delegates. The event will be taking place on Friday 19th February 2016 at our Coventry laboratory, with registration opening at 09:30.

The morning will be made up of a range of talks, including a question and answer session with all speakers from the panel. The speakers will include:

Bruker Daltonic - Lesley Scott - MALDI-ToF Confirmation
BD Kiestra - Ann Woods - Laboratory automation
ALS Environmental - Christopher Card - Validation & Acceditation Process
PALL - Eric Samuels - PCR Developments
Oxide - TBC - Chromogenic Media

Following a free lunch, all delegates will then visit the ALS Environmental laboratory to see practical demonstrations of a range of analytical techniques. The tour will also allow delegates to ask technical questions of our analysts; these topics will include:

  • Legionella Culture
  • Waste Microbiology
  • Cryptosporidium
  • MALDI-ToF Confirmations
