The University of Edinburgh is ranked within the world’s top 20 universities, with Earth and Marine Sciences and Geography both ranked 15th worldwide (QS World University Rankings 2015). The School of GeoSciences is the largest grouping of GeoScientists in the UK, with around 400 academics and research students. As well as being a centre for academic excellence, we are a friendly, welcoming School with regular social activities for all our students.
