The School of the Environment and Technology at the University of Brighton is at the forefront of teaching, research and consultancy in a range of discipline areas including Environmental Sciences, Geography, Geology, Civil Engineering and Built Environment.
We offer a range of accredited courses which benefit from input by industry and professional organisations.
Combined with our extensive research and consultancy activity this ensures our courses are up-to-date, relevant and meet the needs of our students and employers.
We also work closely with industry to offer our students paid placement opportunities, locally and nationally, allowing students to put what they learn in the classroom into practical, hands- on experience and make contacts in industry along the way.
Our academic staff areknowledgeable and enthusiastic teachers and guide students through their studies to become highly employable graduates in their chosen fields. For example, 95% of our Geography graduates go on to work and/or further study within six months of graduating.
