Tried, tested and trusted across the entire roofing industry, Energysaver composite panel rooflights from Brett Martin Daylight Systems have become the first and only choice for specifiers and installers looking for a long lasting and versatile rooflight which offers the best quality natural daylight, hassle free installation, exceptional thermal performance and long life reliability.

The specification of rooflights doesn’t have to involve trawling through the marketplace when Energysaver is tailored to match the metal profile and panel dimensions with options to meet higher performance specifications. With more than 50 years roofing industry experience, Brett Martin has designed and developed Energysaver rooflights to deliver the best quality natural daylight deep into the interior areas of wide-span buildings typically found in the manufacturing, warehousing, retail and recreational sectors.

With full BBA approval Energysaver is a factory assembled insulating rooflight (FAIR) made from robust and durable Trilite GRP rooflight sheet, with the weather sheet having Superlife UV protection offering durability for a 25 year life expectancy and options available for 30 years plus life expectancy. Designed to sit flush with surrounding metal panels for excellent aesthetics and a neater internal appearance, these composite panel rooflights offer a naturally diffused daylight which is more evenly dispersed than other plastic glazing materials.

“Not only do Brett Martin Daylight Systems produce the best FAIR solution to match the composite roofing panel being installed, the quality of manufacture, ease of installation, security of delivery and competitive pricing make it the most appealing product available,” commented Phil Gamble, Purchasing Manager at Hathaway Roofing Ltd.

With a unique thermal membrane these triple skin rooflights have a U-value of 1.9W/m2K with options as low as 0.9W/m2K. To perform as expected whilst also allowing quick and easy installation, unique features are incorporated as standard to allow straightforward installation and ensure long term weatherability.

Specially developed Hardpak™ internal supports are positioned to allow fixing over purlin supports. Made from an extremely rigid material, these robust supports allow fasteners to be tightened with minimal risk of ‘dishing’ around the fastener which could potentially lead to water ingress whilst the reinforced end supports increase the rigidity of the whole unit minimising flexing and damage during site handling.

Another key feature is the metal Underlap Strip™ which is specially profiled to match the sheet corrugation. This allows the installer to use standard sidelap stitching screws when fixing the rooflight in an underlap condition to the metal roof panel. These features were developed in conjunction with leading fastener manufacturer SFS intec to ensure Energysaver could be fixed as part of the roof build process.

In a budget conscious world where the lifespan of buildings and long term savings is key, Energysaver’s reputation will ensure the best quality daylight for years to come.
