Join us and develop expertise and applied techniques to help tackle some of the biggest challenges facing humanity today.
At Canterbury Christ Church University, our natural science degrees have been designed with employability in mind. You’ll benefit from an industry network ranging from major local growers and advisory companies to wildlife parks and environmental trusts. The courses are associated with the University’s Life Sciences Industry Liaison Lab at Discovery Park, Sandwich. Here you’ll have the opportunity to undertake laboratory work and collaborate with a range of employers.
On campus you’ll have access to our new £65 million STEM building, including state-of-the-art science laboratories and an excellent team of highly qualified academics and lab technicians to support you.
You’ll be taught by lecturers whose teaching is informed by their research and who provide opportunities for you to work with them on exciting projects, such as landscape-level water retention by beaver, using native and invasive mussels to remove pollution from rivers, and carbon uptake on Kent’s last remaining fen.
