The Faculty of Science and Technology at Middlesex University delivers high quality teaching, research and consultancy with a focus on the application of knowledge to practice; a knowledge that is underpinned by a sound scientific philosophy and research basis.
Our environmental science, environmental and public health, and environmental management provision spans undergraduate courses, postgraduate taught courses, research degrees and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) including NEBOSH and IOSH courses.
Many of our degree courses are also accredited by agencies including the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH), the Institute of Environmental Science (IES) and the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH).
An important aspect of the department is our vibrant research culture with our experts working both in the UK and with partners across the world to tackle significant environmental issues. Our environmental research is organised across three research centres within the School: the Centre for Decision Analysis and Risk Management; the Urban Pollution Research Centre and the Flood Hazard Research Centre.
